Bespoke

At our initial meet we’ll discuss what you would like to achieve and when you would like to achieve it. We’ll also identify what success looks like for your child to ensure that they become more confident.

Online

Our lessons can be accessed from the comfort of your own home using a mobile device such as a phone or tablet, and also using a laptop or desktop.
Lessons are taught using Zoom and also Google Classroom so that you can keep track of all of your work.

Fun

Whilst the lessons will always have a focus it they will also be taught dynamically, based using real world scenarios and with fun to ensure they enjoy what they are learning.
Happy students learn better and can remember and recall more.

Safeguarding is at the very heart of what we do and so our Tutor is level 3 safeguarding trained, undertaken safer recruitment training, and has an enhanced DBS check.

Professional

In addition to having a degree from Plymouth University where Ed gained BSc (Hons) Computer Systems and Networks (2:1) he has also gone on to complete other certifications to ensure subject knowledge continues to be up-to-date.

Experienced

Since 2008 Ed has worked as a qualified teacher and then as a head of department at a secondary school. Over the years Ed has taught thousands of students from ages 11-16 and a range of different courses qualifications including GNVQ IT, OCR Nationals in IT, Cambridge Nationals in ICT, ECDL, Cambridge Nationals in Information Technologies, GCSE Computer Science.

Qualified

Ed undertook the graduate teacher program with the Mid-Somerset ITT Consortium and gained his qualified teacher status in 2008.
